Jean is a frequent lecturer at dental schools and dental meetings. Her speaking engagements include Boston University Goldman Graduate School of Dentistry, University of Connecticut School of Dentistry, Harvard University School of Dentistry, Tufts University School of Dentistry, The Albany Dental Conference and The Yankee Dental Congress and Massachusetts Dental Society. She is also an author of dental practice transition articles including “You Too Can Fund a Pension Plan after Retirement” appearing in Dental Economics. She has also completed a series of nine educational workshops for varying stages of the dental transition entitled “Taking the Next Step”.
Jean is a graduate of Bryant College with a Bachelors in Finance and Insurance and an Associates in Real Estate, holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School, Cum Laude and a Masters in Tax Law from Boston University Graduate Law School.
Jean began her career at Price Coopers Waterhouse as a tax attorney and has concentrated in professional practice transitions for the past twenty-five years. She specializes in multi-person practices and partnership transactions which traditionally involve financial, tax, and insurance issues.
Member of Rhode Island Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association, Rhode Island Association of Life Underwriters, National Association of Life Underwriters, the Practice Valuation Study Group, Institute of Business Appraisers, and National Association of Practice Brokers.
